Former American swimmer Mark Spitz has teamed up with artificial intelligence company AliveCor, raising awareness of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) and heart health, ensuring 'people have access to an affordable, accurate ECG that can be used anytime, anywhere'.
The Olympic gold medallist, who's recently been diagnosed with AFib, said 'When I was diagnosed with AFib, my first thought was, "how could this happen to me?" The life I thought I had changed forever. Together with AliveCor, our goal is to create a broader discussion around heart health and inform others of this device that gives me peace of mind despite my diagnosis'.
